YOUTH / KIDS BJJ

Our youth curriculum adheres to the IBJJF belt system, which consists of 4 stripes per belt and 3 belts per color. It is a core principle of our academy that kids must earn their belts; no one will be given a belt they haven’t fully earned. The work ethic and respect that children develop through learning Jiu-Jitsu are invaluable lifelong skills that will serve them well beyond the mats. Our curriculum is tailored to encompass both competition and self-defense aspects of Jiu-Jitsu, ensuring that if children need to defend themselves, they are well-prepared, and if they aspire to compete at a high level, they will find themselves among some of the top young competitors in the state to train with.

If your child is in need of a constructive outlet to foster self-confidence, respect, or discipline, our program offers more than just martial arts training—it offers life lessons. With over a decade of experience, our youth instructors are specialists in teaching Jiu-Jitsu to young students. The Carlson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu that we teach is recognized for its efficacy and straightforward approach, ensuring that your child learns techniques that are both practical and effective.

Beyond regular classes, your children will have the opportunity to participate in seminars with legends of the sport, including Carlson Gracie Jr., allowing them to connect with the rich history and tradition of Jiu-Jitsu. To truly understand the transformative impact this sport can have, we invite you to bring your child in to experience our training firsthand. We offer a complimentary two-week trial to ensure that our gym is the perfect environment for your child’s growth and learning in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. See our full class list here, join us and witness the positive change in your child as they embark on their journey!
